Last week's meetings

• The Mayor and Council met on April 27 to honor United States Army Specialist Maiyah Goolsby, approve a $1.3 million insurance contract, and consider a budget amendment of $36,225 for Emergency Medical Services.
• The Committees of Council met on April 28 to approve a retaining wall for First Baptist Church Roswell, two stormwater construction projects totaling over $468,000, and to pursue a Safe Streets and Roads for All grant.

Looking ahead

• The Design Review Board will meet on May 5 to review applications for renovation and new construction at 2181 Strickland Road and a new construction application for Fellowship Church at 480 West Crossville Road.
