Last week's meetings

  • • The Mayor and Council met on 2025-09-08 to present proclamations, appoint Gurtej Narang to the Planning Commission, adopt a millage rate of 4.949 for Tax Year 2025, and consider issuing up to $25,000,000 in DDA Revenue Bonds for the Hill Street parking deck project.
  • • The Mayor and Council also held a Special Called Meeting on 2025-09-08 to consider an executive session for personnel, litigation, and real estate matters.
  • • The Alcoholic Beverage License Board met on 2025-09-04 to hold public hearings for new license applications for Spice of Thai and Ateca Grocery.
  • • The Roswell Recreation Commission met on 2025-09-04 to review the revised 2025 Capital Project List, including updates on various park and recreation facility projects.
  • • The Roswell Recreation Commission Work Session met on 2025-09-04 to receive an informational update regarding the 2025 Youth Day Parade.

Looking ahead

  • • The Historic Preservation Commission will meet on 2025-09-10 to review a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition and restoration of 1076 Canton Street, and consider replacing a decaying retaining wall at 52 Goulding Place.
