Last week's meetings
- The Mayor and Council met on October 27 to swear in Pabel Troche as Fire Chief, recognize an esteemed veteran and Roswell Inc, consider establishing an accelerator facility, approve a Project Intergovernmental Agreement Scope of Work #1, present a Memorandum of Understanding for the City Center redevelopment, and approve the FY 2026 Budget of $229,987,271.
- The Mayor and Council Special Called Meeting met on October 27 to approve a zoning amendment (Case Z-2025-005) for a property at 123 Main Street and a resolution to support the Project GreenSpace grant application.
- The Committees of Council met on October 28 to approve a contract for Crabapple Center roof replacement for $2,412,263, authorize a contract for LED light conversion for athletic fields for $3,658,500, and discuss Tax Allocation District (TAD) policies and procedures for the Roswell East West Connection.
- The 2045 Comprehensive Plan Stakeholder Committee met on October 29 to discuss the committee's role in the 2045 Comprehensive Plan process, review public outreach takeaways, and analyze existing conditions and economic overview.
Looking ahead
- The Design Review Board will meet on November 6 to conduct an initial review of Fellowship Christian School's application for a 35,866 square foot building expansion, proposing a new dining hall and additional classrooms.
