- The Planning Commission met on June 4 to consider a rezoning request for a 62-unit townhome community at 0 Old Roswell Road and review a proposed text amendment to define and regulate data centers.
- The Roswell Recreation Commission met on June 4 to approve minutes from April 2, 2026, which included the merger of the Roswell Youth Baseball Association and Roswell Youth Softball Association, and review the Capital Project List detailing ongoing recreation projects.
- The Roswell Recreation Commission Work Session met on June 4 to receive an informational update on the ongoing initiative to review and revise outdated policies.
- The City of Roswell Alcoholic Beverage License Board met on June 4 to approve minutes from May 7, 2026, and hold a public hearing for a new business application for LAREDOS TAQUERIA & GRILL at 2300 Holcomb Bridge Rd.
Looking ahead
- The Mayor and Council will meet on June 8 to consider approving minutes, accepting right-of-way for streetscape and sidewalk improvements, and voting on accepting a $15,000 grant for adaptive after-school and summer camp programs.
- The Committees of Council will meet on June 9 to consider approving a two-year contract for Workers Compensation Reinsurance coverage and initiate an ordinance to amend stormwater management provisions.
- The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on June 9 to consider a stream buffer variance request from Roger Howrey to rebuild his fire-damaged residence at 540 Sweet Birch Lane with an expanded footprint.
- The Historic Preservation Commission will meet on June 10 to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness for a change to the proposed partial demolition plan for 1076 Canton Street, involving its temporary relocation, and discuss exterior renovations at 1072 Alpharetta Street.
