Last week's meetings

• The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee met on November 18 to approve past minutes, receive the Q3 Economic Development Report from Jeff Leatherman, and discuss the preliminary results of the Comprehensive Growth Plan and how impact fees can support Roswell's Economic Development Strategy.
• The Planning Commission met on November 18 and unanimously deferred preliminary plat renewal applications for 'The Gardens at Sweet Apple' and 'Cottages on Jones' to an early December meeting.

Looking ahead

• The Mayor and Council will meet on November 24 to honor John Porambo, hear public comments from businesses, consider a grant for 30 bulletproof vests for police, approve an MOU with American Medical Response, and potentially award a $1.7 million contract for the Liberty Square Park Construction project.
• The Mayor and Council will hold a Special Called Meeting on November 24 to discuss sensitive topics related to personnel, ongoing litigation, and real estate matters in a closed session.
• The Committees of Council will meet on November 24 to consider approving past minutes and authorizing a $1.7 million contract to Lagniappe Development for the Liberty Square Park Construction project.
