- The Mayor and Council met on April 13 to approve the design for Hembree Park and a contract for Crabapple Center Interior Flooring, and recognized Roswell as a Bicycle Friendly Community.
- The Committees of Council met on April 14 to approve a $1.3M insurance renewal, a $36,225 budget amendment for EMS equipment, and the conversion of the Riverside Park Sprayground to a recirculating water system.
- The Board of Zoning Appeals met on April 14 to consider a variance request from PBS Aerospace Inc. at 1350 Northmeadow Parkway to reduce screening height for exhaust stacks.
- The 2045 Comprehensive Plan Stakeholder Committee met on April 15 to discuss economic analysis takeaways and preliminary strategies for the 2045 Comprehensive Plan, including upcoming community engagement events.
Looking ahead
- The Planning Commission will meet on April 21 to consider a Conditional Use Permit for a carriage house at 440 Houze Way and proposed amendments to the UDC regarding residential parking, signage, horse stables, and industrial warehouse use.
