Last week's meetings
- The Planning Commission met on April 10 to consider a text amendment to the Unified Development Code (UDC) to clarify definitions and use standards for warehouse and distribution facilities.
- The Planning Commission met on April 10 to consider amendments to the UDC regarding residential parking, non-residential parking surfaces, temporary sign permits, and allowing non-commercial horse stables in RS-18 zoning, and a Conditional Use Permit for a carriage house at 440 Houze Way.
- The Design Review Board met on April 7 to unanimously approve new construction at 11033 Alpharetta Highway and exterior renovations at 891 Mansell Road, and discussed rezoning for Pope & Land Townhomes.
- The Historic Preservation Commission met on April 8 to approve Certificates of Appropriateness for a new single-family residence at 1000 N. Main Street and exterior alterations at 200 E. Maple Street, and discussed proposed amendments to Historic District Guidelines.
Looking ahead
- The Mayor and Council will meet on April 13 to consider approving a $646,337 contract for Hembree Park improvements and a $288,699.97 contract for dance floors at Crabapple Center, and will review a resolution for the City's recertification in the Georgia Municipal Association Certified City of Ethics Program.
- The Committees of Council will meet on April 14 to consider authorizing a $1,339,397 renewal contract for property, casualty, and management liability insurance, a $36,225 budget amendment for EMS response bags and AEDs with Naloxone, and review a text amendment to the Roswell Dredging Assistance Policy.
- The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on April 14 to consider a zoning variance request for PBS Aerospace Inc. at 1350 Northmeadow Parkway to reduce the required height of screening for ground-mounted equipment.
