Last week's meetings

• The Mayor and Council met on September 8 to adopt a millage rate of 4.949 for Tax Year 2025 and consider funding for the Hill Street parking deck.
• The Mayor and Council Special Called Meeting met on September 8 to discuss personnel, litigation, and real estate matters in an executive session.
• The Committees of Council met on September 9 to review a sidewalk café application, approve the 2025 Community Work Program, and discuss a stormwater lining project and a new IGA for water and sewer billing.
• The Board of Zoning Appeals met on September 9 to review variance requests for a sport court at 12250 Brookfield Club Drive and parking at 9410 Willeo Road.
• The Historic Preservation Commission met on September 10 to review proposals for the partial demolition and restoration of 1076 Canton Street and the replacement of a retaining wall at 52 Goulding Place.

Looking ahead

• The Mayor and Council Special Called Public Hearing on Millage Rate will meet on September 15 to conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2025 millage rate of 4.949.
• The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee will meet on September 16 to receive a presentation on proposed draft impact fees and discuss the adoption timeline.
