Last week's meetings

  • The Mayor and Council met on February 23 to honor United States Navy Petty Officer Second Class (PO2) Taylor N. Davis with the Esteemed Veteran of Roswell Award, approve contracts for Crabapple Center Interior Renovations ($890,000.00) and Interior Painting ($98,200.00), and approve the Chickering Dredging Assistance Policy Application by a 5-0 vote.
  • The Committees of Council met on February 24 to approve a contract worth $427,998.64 for rigging and dimmer upgrades at the Cultural Arts Center, advance ethics ordinance amendments to the Mayor and Council, and approve the addition of Juneteenth as an official paid City holiday for 2026.

Looking ahead

  • The Design Review Board will meet on March 3 to conduct an initial review of application ZDRB-000008 for the new construction of a 2,550 square-foot auto service center at 10471 Alpharetta Street and hold elections for the 2026 Chair and Vice Chair positions.
