Spring is in the air, and Roswell's local government has been busy with a variety of important decisions and upcoming plans.
Last week's meetings
- The Mayor and Council met on March 9 to approve a conditional use permit with concurrent variance for QuikTrip at 1050 Holcomb Bridge Road.
- The Roswell Public Facilities Authority met on March 9 to approve a resolution to move forward with the issuance of a $13,400,000 revenue bond (Series 2026) to finance various government projects for the City of Roswell.
- The Committees of Council met on March 10 to approve moving forward with a new agreement with BRINC and Motorola Solutions for a trial Drone as First Responder (DFR) initiative take-off program.
- The Board of Zoning Appeals met on March 10 to approve a request to reduce the rear setback from 30 feet to 16 feet for a covered patio at 114 Prospect Street.
- The Historic Preservation Commission met on March 11 to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness for a commercial exterior renovation at 16 Oak Street by a 3 to 2 vote.
