• The Mayor and Council Regular Meeting on September 8 discussed the adoption of the 2025 millage rate and considered resolutions for Downtown Development Authority revenue bonds and a land exchange for the Hill Street parking deck project.
• The Mayor and Council Special Called Meeting on September 8 addressed specific municipal matters and included an executive session.
• The Committees of Council Regular Meeting on September 9 addressed administrative, development, and infrastructure matters, including updates to community programs and new business applications.
• The Board of Zoning Appeals met on September 9 to address two public hearing items concerning variance requests for residential and commercial properties.
• The Roswell Recreation Commission Regular Meeting on September 4 reviewed the 2025 Capital Project List for parks, recreation facilities, river parks, and historic assets.
• The Roswell Recreation Commission Work Session on September 4 discussed upcoming initiatives and reviewed informational reports.
• The Alcoholic Beverage License Board Meeting on September 4 reviewed and voted on new alcohol license applications.

Looking ahead

• The Historic Preservation Commission will meet on September 10 to address applications for modifications to historic properties, including a significant restoration project for 1076 Canton Street and a retaining wall replacement at 52 Goulding Place.
• The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee will meet on September 16 to discuss the presentation of draft impact fees and outline the next steps for their adoption.
