Last week's meetings
- The Mayor and Council met on May 11 to approve a Memorandum of Understanding for a new veteran's home, adopt the Roswell Dredging Assistance Policy, and approve a Conditional Use Permit for a Carriage House at 440 Houze Way.
- The Committees of Council met on May 12 to approve splitting TSPLOST 3 resurfacing funds into Tier 1 ($15M) and Tier 2 ($10M), and to approve the 2026 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant.
- The Board of Zoning Appeals met on May 12 to unanimously approve a variance for PBS Aerospace Inc. at 1350 Northmeadow Parkway for additional exhaust stacks and a rear setback variance for Mark Sottile at 235 Brook Valley Drive for a screened porch.
- The Historic Preservation Commission met on May 13 to approve Certificates of Appropriateness for a commercial rear addition at 1014 Canton Street, and new single-family residences at 660 Elm Street and 55 Maple Street.
Looking ahead
- The Planning Commission will meet on May 19 to consider a rezoning request for a 9.9869-acre property at 0 Old Roswell Road from Commercial Mixed Use (CX) to Office Residential (OR) to allow for the development of 62 townhomes.
