- The Committees of Council met on September 9 to consider a sidewalk café license for "Café le Bon," approve the 2025 Community Work Program, award a $355,471 contract for stormwater pipe rehabilitation, and review an Intergovernmental Agreement for water service and sewer billing with Fulton County.
- The Board of Zoning Appeals met on September 9 to review a variance request for a sport court at 12250 Brookfield Club Drive and consider parking variance requests for a dental office at 9410 Willeo Road, including allowing on-site parking between the building and street and increasing maximum parking to 32 spaces.
- The Historic Preservation Commission met on September 10 to review a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition and restoration of 1076 Canton Street and consider replacing a retaining wall at 52 Goulding Place with a concrete block wall.
Looking ahead
- The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee will meet on September 16 to receive a presentation on proposed draft impact fees and discuss the next steps for their adoption.
