Last week's meetings

The Mayor and Council met on September 8 to present proclamations for the Esteemed Veteran of Roswell Award and the Esteemed Roswell Public Safety Employee award, declare September as 2025 Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and consider the first reading and approval of an ordinance to adopt a millage rate of 4.949 for Tax Year 2025.
The Mayor and Council Special Called Meeting met on September 8 to consider closing the meeting for an executive session to discuss personnel, litigation, and real estate matters.
The Committees of Council met on September 9 to consider a sidewalk café license application for "Café le Bon" at 43/45 Park Square Court, review and approve the 2025 Community Work Program and Community Improvement Element Update, and consider awarding a contract not exceeding $355,471 to Inliner Solutions, LLC for stormwater pipe rehabilitation.
The Board of Zoning Appeals met on September 9 to review a variance request to reduce the side and rear setbacks for an existing sport court at 12250 Brookfield Club Drive and consider parking variance requests for 9410 Willeo Road Dental Office.
The Historic Preservation Commission met on September 10 to review a Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition and restoration of the historic structure at 1076 Canton Street and consider replacing a decaying railroad tie retaining wall at 52 Goulding Place.

The Mayor and Council Special Called Public Hearing on Millage Rate will meet on September 15 to conduct a public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate of 4.949 for Tax Year 2025.
The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee will meet on September 16 to receive a presentation detailing the proposed draft impact fees and discuss the timeline and process for their adoption.
